A look into my Florida Vacation!

Florida has many great places to visit that are within driving distance for the day.

Here are the highlights from my trip!

Daytona 500:

If you are a Nascar fan the Daytona 500 is a must see. From various fan experiences before to the race itself there is plenty to enjoy. Bring your ear plugs as the cars get very loud but sit back, relax, and watch to see which driver will win The Great American Race. There are many locations throughout the track where you can buy souvenirs to remember your time at the race.

Disney World:

With four theme parks there is a ton of rides, shopping, and food to explore. There are rides to fit all ages from roller coasters to scene rides. In addition there are shows where you can take a break from the Florida heat. Also, in the parks there are fireworks every night. You even can have meet and greets with your favorite characters.

Toasted Monkey:

The Toasted Monkey is a great place to eat in St. Petersburg with a variety of food that everyone can find something they like. While you eat there is a beautiful view of the beach. Which you can walk down to and relax by the water after your meal.

Disney Springs:

A shopping center right near Disney World where you can do even more shopping.  Even though it is part of Disney you don’t have to buy a ticket.  Disney Springs features Disney Merchandise shopping as well as other popular stores.  There are also plenty of restaurants you can eat at after doing all your shopping for souvenirs to bring back to family members.

Mets Spring Training:

If you love baseball, going to a spring train game is a bucket list type of experience. At Clover Park you get to watch your favorite players in such a chill environment while the players get ready for the upcoming baseball season. You can even get autographs from players during practices and before the games.
